Enhanced Performance and Power
The 2025 Africa Twin Adventure Sports retains the formidable 1,084cc parallel-twin engine that has become synonymous with power and reliability. However, Honda has fine-tuned the engine to deliver more responsive low-end torque and smoother power delivery, making it even more capable on both off-road trails and long-distance highway rides. The engine now produces 105 horsepower and 105 Nm of torque, providing ample power for any adventure.
One of the most significant upgrades is the introduction of a new six-speed Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT) option, which offers seamless gear changes and three customizable riding modes. Riders can switch between manual and automatic shifting, allowing for more control in challenging off-road conditions or convenience during long stretches of road travel.
Advanced Technology and Connectivity
Honda has equipped the 2025 Africa Twin Adventure Sports with cutting-edge technology to enhance the riding experience. The motorcycle features a new 7-inch full-color TFT touchscreen display with integrated Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, allowing riders to connect their smartphones for navigation, music, and communication on the go. The display is also fully customizable, giving riders quick access to essential information such as speed, fuel level, and riding mode.
The 2025 model introduces Honda’s latest suite of electronic rider aids, including a refined IMU-based (Inertial Measurement Unit) system that controls the updated traction control, cornering ABS, and wheelie control. The bike also comes with a new cruise control system and a customizable suspension setup, ensuring a smooth and controlled ride in various conditions.
Rugged Design and Comfort
Aesthetically, the 2025 Africa Twin Adventure Sports has been given a rugged yet refined look. The bike features new bodywork with sharper lines and a more aerodynamic profile, improving both wind resistance and fuel efficiency. The updated LED headlight assembly includes cornering lights, providing better illumination during nighttime and low-visibility conditions.
The motorcycle’s chassis has been revised for improved stability and handling, with a focus on comfort for long-distance riding. The adjustable seat height ranges from 850mm to 870mm, accommodating a wide variety of riders. The larger 24.8-liter fuel tank ensures extended range, making it ideal for long adventures without frequent refueling stops.
Honda has also introduced new color schemes for the 2025 model, including the striking "Pearl Glare White Tricolor" that pays homage to the Africa Twin’s Dakar Rally heritage, and the all-new "Matte Ballistic Black Metallic," which adds a modern, stealthy touch to the lineup.
